The Lincs Group are a family based business, who have been providing their quality services to Lincolnshire & further afield for three decades. They primarily specialize in Rubber Flat Roofing, though have also gained considerable expertise in Conservatory Warm Roofs & Flood Defence, stemming from when their home town flooded in 2013. Thanks to many years of positive trade relations, they’ve also now launched a shop on their website www.lincsgroup.uk.
Run by Mark & James Leafe, the business has steadily grown over time, and is proud to boast a variety of credentials, including: Firestone (now Elevate) EPDM Authorized Installers; Approved Installers of the Guardian Warm Roof System, Freefoam Registered Installers; BPEC & BSI Kitemark Certified Flood Professionals.
Mark explained “We have installed thousands of flat roofs in Lincolnshire and further afield, to domestic and commercial customers alike. When working with Roofline Products, we always recommend the Freefoam range. We like the quality of the products, the colour range, & have a good working relationship with our suppliers, Truseal Group, including Tony & the team at the Boston branch.”
As part of their roofing expertise, The Lincs Group also regularly fit the full suite of Freefoam roofline products, fascia, soffit and gutter. They have been using Freefoam products for over 20 years, supplied by Truseal Group. Tony Thayne, Boston Manager explained “We’ve been supplying Lincs Group for many years. They are a loyal customer of ours, buying Freefoam fascia, soffit, trims and gutter on a regular basis. We deliver to them out on site and the we’ve built up a good working relationship.”
Lincs Group pool house project.
This prestigious project features a standalone pool house, set in the grounds of an extensive estate in Lincolnshire. The owner wanted to refurbish the complete building, including the flat roof, windows, doors and feature cladding.
The Lincs Group surveyed and recommended an Elevate EPDM Rubber roof, Triple Glazed rooflights, and replacement of existing brown timber cladding around the walls at the top of the building. The wood cladding was in very poor condition and compromised the durability of the building.
The Lincs Group recommended Freefoam Fortex Cladding, in Sage Green, to compliment the Chartwell Green windows & doors installed, to create a modern coordinated look. They recommended the Fortex Cladding due to it’s low-maintenance, aesthetic woodgrain finish & durability.
They removed the old cladding, fitted a new breather membrane, installed the treated timber battens & vented starter trim – then fitted the cladding. To compliment the finish they also used the Upvc Rubber Roofing trims, to both stop or encourage water run-off & finish the aesthetic look to the project. The Freefoam Freeflow gutter system was also used.
Mark also explained: “We pride ourselves on providing a high quality installation service, & always recommend Freefoam products to our clients. Whilst we may not have been the cheapest option the owner received, I knew that our service combined with the Fortex cladding would work really well in this situation. The owner is delighted with the results.”
Cladding is a transformational home improvement product. The use of cladding for this projecy highlights its aesthetic qualities and versatility and more importantly the homeowner was very happy with the results. “The pool house looks fantastic and is such an improvement and face-lift”
